Last school year was a blur to say the least!
I finished last school year as a Read Intervention teacher, which was one of the
most awesome experiences I have ever had. Working with children from
1st grade - 6th grade who were a year or more behind their reading grade
level was both rewarding and fun. The children I worked with came from
all walks of life, but unfortunately most of them live in very poor
conditions. But oh how they appreciate every day eager to learn. My
days were filled with hugs after hugs.
I am returning this school year to a new position as an elementary school
Librarian & new school within the same school district. I am so
excited about the new school year and new challenges.
